Audio from TSGA Jamboree 2025 - "The House of the Rising Sun" - Joe Wright

I was lucky enough to be at the last session in the non-pedal steel room on Saturday when Joe Wright joined Steve Palousek for the final set of the day. I ended up with a good quality, clean, audio file of Joe playing "The House of the Rising Sun". His performance was/is nothing less than amazing.

I found that the version of "The House of the Rising Sun" in Joe's publicly available zip file of all his work seems to be corrupted... unforunately there are several garbled spots in it.

Because I think it might be of interest to folks, I have posted the m4a audio file of "The House of the Rising Sun" on my Google Drive. If anyone wants to listen to it. Go to:

I attempted to find an email address for Joe to get his permission to post this audio track, but could not find an email address for him. If ANYONE thinks it is NOT appropriate that I make this file available, just let me know and I'll take it down.

Great. Thanks for Joe’s email. I’ll contact him straight away and let you know what I learn.

In the meantime I’m going to remove the file from my Google Drive…I can always put it back and repost if Joe says it’s okay by him.
