Hi Everyone,
I just put a new lesson on how to do the Eric Heywood solo to Dishes by Jeffrey Focault. Nice understated solo over a singer-songwriter like waltz. Backing track and tab included. Enjoy!

That was excellent Jeff! And I appreciate the tablature style you use - with a lot of steel guitar tab, the numbers are written in the spaces rather than on the lines.
Maybe it’s just me, but when I’m following on tab, I have a difficult time “seeing” the string locations of the notes when they are typed into spaces rather than on the lines. When I read tab where the notes are indicated on the lines, it’s like I’m looking at a representation of the actual strings.
Having tab written in spaces rather than on the lines makes me want to avoid lessons and teaching methods in that format.
