It's All Your Fault - Western Swing

Post by Ethan Shaw »

I had a great time singing and picking yesterday with brother Doug Strahan! I've always loved this Cindy Walker song, whether it was Wade Ray, Jimmie Rivers and Vance Terry, or Leon McAuliffe singing it with Bob Wills! This was near the end of our 3-hour outdoor show, so I over-compensated a little with staying on top of the beat while Doug was soloing. But you get the idea, haha! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zkf5expJSSs

Good job Ethan and band! That takes some real chops to sing and play and keep it all in tune! Great job.

What tuning are you using for those necks, Ethan?

I've loved to give that a go.

Thanks,
Will

Killer playing, Ethan! I'd love to make it out to Texas some day to see you live.

Thanks, y'all! I'll be playing a few times at the TGSA Jamboree, so hopefully I'll get to see some of you there! Will, I think I played mostly in A6, but I tuned my B11 neck bottom string down to E to play the bass lines.

Haha, I just noticed that nobody who just posted in this thread lives anywhere near Texas! Well, y'all need to come visit sometime!
