Jimmy Day on C6?

Post by Rick Contino »

I love Jimmy’s C6 playing on Willie Nelson’s Texas album. Does anyone know what other recordings Jimmy Day unleashed his C6 on?

There's Golden Steel Guitar Hits. Mostly C6, I believe.

One eventually learns to tune out the obtrusive Merry Melody Singers, simply because the steel playing is so great.

Try the Ray Price Sings Bob Wills made in about 1962. Jimmy plays the hold album, but I don`t how much of it would be C-6.

Ray Price Sings Bob Wills is a great record! Jimmy does pay a lot of (great!) E9 on there. He does play C6 too though. Bubbles in My Beer is definitely C6:
