I’m wondering if anyone has tried the recent or currently produced EVM 12 L speakers in a Twin Reverb? I’d love to hear opinions on them.

I have used the EV 12L and it’s a very nice speaker but as Donny said it’s heavy. I have a 15L and it sounds nice but you could also use it for a boat anchor.
The Eminence Franklin 350 is a 12 inch speaker with the same vibe as the 12L but voiced more towards the steel guitar. I used one for some time and it’s nice but has the factor also.

I just ordered an Eminence EM12 that is very EV12L like is construction. I am going to use this for guitar as the specs state the speaker is very neutral and lets the tone of the amp and guitar come through without speaker coloration.
I will try it for pedal steel as well. The reviews are very good on this speaker.
