A young man showed this pic to me and is asking for the value of this sweet amp. It's spent it's life inside a plywood case someone built for it. He said it works as good as it looks. So, I'm looking for some expertise in it's value.
50's Oahu amp value?

This one seems very similar - in fact, at first I thought it was the same amp. I'd say that price ($1500) is probably pretty close. These are very sought-after amps by blues harp players as well as guitarists.
There's one on Ebay, not nearly as clean, for $1075.

Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?
