Kline 12 String Lap-steel

Post by Alan Cook »

I made this with some parts I had and some I made! It works well and sounds great. All made with hand tools so not that accurate!

Thanks guys the pickup base is a 10 string base I cut it down and used the section I cut off to make the key head. The pickup and fretboard is also Kline. I made everything else.

How cool is that... fit's in a suit case.
I'd love to travel with such a guitar to practice.

I really like the idea of having a compact lap steel in the same tuning and ergonomics as my pedal steel. I want one to keep next to the easy chair.
