Making a Washburn travel guitar into a slide guitar?
Has anyone ever tried to make a Washburn travel guitar into a lap style slide guitar? Do you think it would work if you raised to the nut?

with a nut riser you can turn virtuly any 6 string into a lap style.
I have done it on old cheap guitars and they work good. Old cheap gibson spin offs sound good.
The only thing I did was place the nut riser on the guitar and tune....simple
The thing to watch is the string spacing but then again if it is close it works ok
