Curtis McPeake, banjo legend passes.

Post by Michael Breid »

Long time banjo legend Curtis McPeake has passed away. He was the banjo player for Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass as well as their bus driver for many years. I don't know if it was from natural causes, Covid-19, or something else. I don't know anything about arrangements. Perhaps someone will put more info on the Forum. So glad I got to know him. What an infectious smile he had. May he liven up the Heavenly band.

I must admit that his name is more familiar to me as a dealer in vintage instruments.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
