Reverb cables for Nashville 400

Post by Ken Fox »

Been thinking about building an improved cable assembly
for a while. These are made with braided style like old Fender amps used. Also covered with a clear shrink tubing to assure the tanks to assure that the input to the tank does not get grounded out to the reverb can. The tanks used in Peavey amps have an isolated input from the tank chassis.

I built four sets so far. Once I get a price point I may get these up on my website.

I will have 14 ready in a few weeks. Waiting on the Molex connectors now. I got 100 feet of the cable, 100 ft of the clear shrink tubing and the RCA connectors in stock.

I have to get ready for tonight’s show but I’ll post some pictures later of my matching NV 112,
And my matching NV 400 combo amp.
I’m currently building a matching 15” speaker cabinet for my NV 400 head.
The weather turned to cold here or it would have been ready to use tonight.
Oh well, Happy New Year everyone.

I took my NV400 out for a gig this weekend, using the new Molex connector from Ken. My old cable was in such bad shape, I couldn't use the built in reverb for the last few years. Thank you, Ken--sounded great to hear that reverb again!!
