Stockyards Steel Player

Post by Rick Troyer »

Anyone know who played the pedal steel at the Stockyards in Nashville, more precisely around 1986-89, the guy also played sax! Any help would be awesome!

I don't really know about the Stockyards, but Big Jim Murphy played around Nashville about that time and he was a killer sax player.

When I was at Jeff Newmans school in 1982, Terry Crisp was playing in the band at the Stockyards ... don't know how long he stayed there of course, and don't know if he plays sax hehe !!!

He did play a Chuck Mangione tune on the C6th if that helps Lol !!!
