Jeff, Do you want spring pins, or dowel pins, I have seen spring pins used, and I have several 1/16 spring pins that I can send you. What length?

the machinist that made the fingers said that I need 1/2" x 0.625" ...he said case hardened steel...most anyone that knows about steels would know more than I do...but if they would work I'd buy some from you, thanks, I really appreciate your help.

JEFF Just to inform you, 1/16 is .0625. Not 0.625 as you posted, That is 5/8". That decimal in the wrong place could cause you some grief. Good Luck on this project.

Jeff,

You should be able to find some solid steel pins locally at most any good hardware store. I'd stay away from from using spring pins if I were you.
