Thinking about Mike today as he passed 6 years ago,one day short of his birthday. A sad day for everyone, especially dobro players worldwide...

Mike was all class, be it in his playing or in his interfacing with others. One of my greatest pleasures, at the shows, was visiting with Mike. We had music in common and my brother plays Dobro, but he was just a pleasant Gentleman to be around..

I think of him often with very fond memories...

Think about Mike all the time. Those that knew him knew what a swell guy he was. He was a good friend to me and I will always be grateful for the times I got to hang with Mike. Really can't believe it has been more than 6 years now that he is gone. Miss you buddy.
