Three New CD Projects At The Dallas Show
Hey everybody. Just want to let everybody know that I've been busy and will have 3 new projects at my booth at the T.S.G.A. show this year.
The first cd I want to tell you about is one I'm still working on and I'm really excited about is titled " Solitaire ". It is a 13 song project {9 instrumentals and 4 with vocalists}. The title track is a Carpenters hit from the mid '70's.
I have assembled some of the best players{who also are some of my best friends}as well as 4 of the best singers in the business to help me on this project.
The singers are Carolyn Martin, Cooper Lynn Hays, Ronnie Dale Rotroff and Gary Gibson. The players are Walter Hartman drums, Gage Boeker bass, Will Adkins Keys, Johnny Lee Carpenter fiddle, Rod Riley lead guitar, Wes L'Anglois rhythm guitar.
The songs cover a range from The Carpenters to Carl Smith, Bob Wills to The Mills Brothers, Ray Price to Duke Ellington and more.
The next project is a Christmas cd by myself and Alan Copenhaver. We put a lot of variety in this cd of Christmas favorites. Everything from bluegrass to country to jazz. Don't wait until next November to order, pick one up and have it on hand.
And last, A "Live" cd of a band Ronnie Dale Rotroff and I put together over a year ago called Touch Of Texas. Lot's of shuffles, swing and other "dancehall" favorites.
Feel free to email me with any questions or ask on here.
Thanks for all your support.
