Hello well guys I thought the last resonator console Jimmie built for me was as good as it could get. well I was wrong I put in a order for one more of these several months ago and he told me he had been working on and developing a newer sound chamber and pickup.well he did and guys this new sound chamber and pickup is great-fantastic- its got sustain volume etc without a amp.then with a amp it sound like a resonator to the T. don't get me wrong the last one he built for me does to. but this newer sound chamber he just developed is a lot louder more sustain. its just cant get any better then this if you guys are looking for a different aproch to a resonator with a stand etc you need to look into one of these this is great Jimmie thanks I don't know how it can get any better then this. better look in to it guys I don't think you will be disappointed. thanks jimmie

I have never met Jimmie face to face. I would like to. I believe he is an innovator in the league of Paul Bigsby. He is constantly following his own lights in developing interesting products. He is not simply reinventing the wheel.

Does this instrument have a spider bridge and spun cone ala traditional resonator guitar? If so, which ones? Beard, Quarterman etc.

Hi Jerry, The guitar has a Beard Legend cone and #14 spider. That is not all it takes to get the sound out of this guitar. I have worked 5 years total developing the sound chamber and inside guts of the guitar to get the guitar to where it is today.
I believe it is as good as any resonator guitar on the market today in sound quality and tone as well as natural volume out of the guitar. The pickup has been a true adventure in finding the exact combination of parts to get the true resonator sound transferred to the amp. The nut and bridge is my own special design all made here in my shop. That also helps bring this instrument into the rim of excellence today's players expect and require. I have gone through many ways of anchoring parts in various ways to find tone and volume. I have experimented with different types of screws and metals as well over the last 5 years to find the best of everything that can be done to make this the best available console resonator guitar on the market today. Thanks for taking your time to read this. Jimmie Hudson hudsonsteelguitars.com
