Pettingill 8 string lap steel

Post by David Kurrasch »

Pettingill 8 string Teardrop style Lap Steel. Tom's guitars are without a doubt some of the finest lap steels ever made. This is a real work of art, that plays and sounds just as good as it looks.
I did gig with this guitar for a while, so it is not flawless. There are some very light surface scratches/ imperfections, but I'd still rate it's condition a 9.5 out of 10. Includes a custom made Keeley road case, which does show some wear.
Asking $2000, which will include (domestic) shipping and insurance. International buyers would have to cover shipping costs.

I'm sure I'll probably regret parting with this one, since no more will be made, but I haven't been playing it lately, and need to raise money for some other gear purchases. Not interested in trades.

Thanks Stephen! I knew that thread was out there, but didn't have time to search for it when I posted this morning.

I have this one's cousin. Beautiful instruments built with the master's touch. Yes, you're gonna regret letting her go

I still have this guitar available. It has hardly been out of the case since I posted this ad a few years ago.
I'd still let it go for the same price. I'll knock off $200 if you want to come pick it up in person. ($1,800 if you pick up, or $2,000 and I'll cover shipping/insurance within the continental US)
