For sale is a Hilton volume pedal. Eliminates the need to ever replace, adjust, or otherwise fuss with a pot or string again.
This pedal also functions as a signal driver and performs a similar function to your matchbox, lil izzy or black box.
This is not the low-profile model. Includes one power supply.

I've been using s Hilton for several years now....I wouldn't want to go back to a "POT" pedal! It's so smooth, and no change whatsoever in the tone from closed to fully open. You'll never go wrong owning a Hilton! IMHO

I'm no expert on this, but I have always been careful to use the power supply that came with the pedal. My impression has been that this was important.
That said, take a look at the power supply in the picture I took. It says 12V...this might be a good one to ask Keith Hilton. He posts on the forum regularly.
