Topic: Boss Tone Knob? |

| Does anybody know the part number or correct name for this type of knob? My Boss Tone fell off of my desk and one of the knobs broke. I started searching Mouser electronics but, they have a ton of knobs. You could spend days going through the website LOL. Anyway, thought I'd check and see if somebody knew off the top of their head? |

| Chris Mahoney at Keeley Electronics in Edmond Oklahoma can repair your Boss Tone. He calls them Buzz Tone now because of a copyright enfringment with Boss Pedals. He repaired mine awhile ago. |

I shattered the knob on mine, and just used a fingertip to move the wiper arm

When a friend had a Boss-Tone with both knobs broken, I made him new knobs...out of dimes. Just drilled a small hole in the center of the dimes, and then formed the flats with a jeweler's file. The reeded edge on a dime makes for a pretty good non-slip grip.  |
