Does anybody know the part number or correct name for this type of knob? My Boss Tone fell off of my desk and one of the knobs broke. I started searching Mouser electronics but, they have a ton of knobs. You could spend days going through the website LOL. Anyway, thought I'd check and see if somebody knew off the top of their head?

Chris Mahoney at Keeley Electronics in Edmond Oklahoma can repair your Boss Tone. He calls them Buzz Tone now because of a copyright enfringment with Boss Pedals. He repaired mine awhile ago.

If you want to cull your knob selection down to guitar & fx related knobs, here's a good source:

David, I needed a knob a few years ago and ordered a few extra ones. If I can find them I can send you one. I will be in the shop soon and will look for them.

I shattered the knob on mine, and just used a fingertip to move the wiper arm

When a friend had a Boss-Tone with both knobs broken, I made him new knobs...out of dimes. Just drilled a small hole in the center of the dimes, and then formed the flats with a jeweler's file. The reeded edge on a dime makes for a pretty good non-slip grip. Winking
