This is probably weight out of case yes? Also, how interchangeable is the pickup if someone wanted to go w more of a single coil sound?
Thanks!

I have an almost identical guitar. I had a Wallace Truetone single coil. I found it noisy in the wrong situation. I swapped the Wallace out for a BL XR16. To me it's about as close as you can get to single coil without the hum.

BL XR16's are one of the suggested pickups John Fabian recommended.

Otherwise swapping the pickup is not that hard if you take your time and have some rudimentary soldering skills.

YMMV
Zum SD-12 Black, Zum SD-12 Burly Elm Several B-Bender Tele's and a lot of other gear I can't play.

I spent half my money on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted. W.C. Fields

Ken, the setup on this is very much different then Jeff had. Not that it makes any difference. We are all matter of change. It would really make a nice guitar. I wish I could make it mine. The weight is just a little more then I can handle. I still have it on my mind. Could get it yet.
