I know I'm going to be accused of "throwing water" on this idea, but I would think we would need to check with the executor of Buddy's estate about using his likeness on this. Buddy may be gone but the estate still has legal rights.

I'll put my flame suit on now as people sometimes don't care that I'm trying to keep them out of trouble.

My 2 cents, YMMV.

Buddy's Bobblehead

Post by Charley Bond »

Mr Whitley... that is a great idea.

NOTE, this idea of mine was not to make a red cent, it was an idea to watch Buddy smilin' away as I drive down the highway listening to country music.

If someone could contact the estate, maybe they would like to do this & possibly make a nickel. That would be fine with me.

I never thought it was about the money Charley, as there couldn't be much in a bobble head. I just did not want you getting in trouble with Buddy's estate.

But with my recent bout with another Forum member I'm not going to be here to watch out for it any more. Good luck with your idea Charley, I hope it does go well.

Mr Whitley... don't go away. I haven'y gotten to know you. This is not your doing. I should have stated in my original post that this was for us to acknowledge Buddy

bobbleheads

Post by Dick Chapple Sr »

Well perhaps this Buddy bobblehead won't happen, but what fun it would be to have a bobblehead collection of all of our star steelers. And that would be one huge collection too!! It would have to a be a new booblehead (oh man my typing...bobblehead hahaha) per week because there would be so many I wouldn't live long enough to collect them all!

The San Francisco Giants made a Jerry Garcia bobblehead a few years ago (see eBay) though it has him playing a regular guitar. There's one for a start of my collection.

An Emmons bobblehead with a bowler hat would be very distinctive, but a b0bblehead with a top hat would equally be. ;-)

I am with Dick. I Love the idea of a Bobblehead collection. I would even allow one of myself...and yes I know It would be the most sought after of the collection

For 12 bobbleheads, it was $39.00 each.

>>>>>Hi

the price will be $84.55 mold + $32/ per bobblehead =$436.55

If the order is beyond of the 200 same bobblehead, the price will be $13.90 each, total amount is $2780<<<<

NOTE... you can always customize your bobblehead with some of your wife's nail polish.....

Big E Bobbleheads

Post by Charley Bond »

NO SIR... if I get enough orders to have these made & get permission to do so, I will get them ordered & send them out... without making a cent. How's that.

I would like to have one, if this don't fly, maybe I'll get one made of me.... Buddy's bobblehead made more sense.
