Hi guys!
A fellow picker has problems w/ his LDR-2 which he bought new a few weeks ago. Yes, it´s new, never used although manufactured in 2007.
When picking the strings harder the sound gets "distorted" or "cracked". It´s not distorted per se, but more... well, "cracked"...I don´t know how to describe it better...
And the problem remains regardless of the volume on the pedal...
I suggested trying to adjust the gain knob but he´s stating it has no effect.
Ever heard of anything similar?
Does anyone know which voltage it runs on? 18 or 24?
Thanks!

Lower the pickup _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Avoid too many preamps as it has one in the pedal. A 710 pickup would add to the possible overdriving of the PU. _________________ http://www.littleoprey.org/ |
