Bob Tuttle....."What a Friend"

Post by Bob Tuttle »

This is an old standard gospel song, using one of Zane King's fine backing tracks. I hope you like it.

Another good one Bob. Had the lyrics singing right along in my head while you played this one. Nicely done.

Absolutely gorgeous Bob, you played that to perfection... One of my all time favorite songs... when I was a kid and having a bad day, troubles on my mind so I couldn’t sleep, I’d sing this to myself in my head... Perhaps no truer words in a song were ever written, What a Friend We Have In Jesus!!!...

I might have to run out and get me a GFI too!!! :)

What a Friend

Bob that was a great piece of gospel music as is all your u-tube tunes. If Buddy Bryant was still
around he would be one proud guy to have been your friend. We used to play together in his barn and he would always mention you. He was my good friend as well.

Bob,

This is amazingly beautiful. Gives me something to shoot for as I am still in my first year of learning on the steel. Love the hymn, and your playing.

Great job playing Bob. I always enjoy watching your videos, especially gospel songs.
How do you go about learning a new song?
