Zum S-10 3x5 value

Post by Anthony Kolarik »

I'm wondering what the going rate is for a 10 year old Zumsteel S-10 3x5. Its in great shape, just been sitting in the case for the last 6 years. Black mica.

I searched through the old buy & sell postings and only saw one, where somebody was asking $1500, no idea if he got it or not.

Anyone know what they're getting? Thanks a lot,

It would be a crime to sell it for less, unless I was the buyer. See my e-mail.

Well, that seems a little high to me for a 10 year-old S10. The U12's usually go for $1,500 to $1,800. Zum's are a good axe, but there's not a lot of them out there for sale yet. Because of that, it's a "seller's market". For a 3+5, you might have to go as much as $1,500. If they're asking more, I'd look elsewhere, or consider another brand.

$100.00. Where do I send the check?
I think you'll see $1200.00 to $1500.00 for this type of guitar, but usually for one a little newer. But Zum's are good at holding their value.
