Gibson Les Paul Custom Showcase trade for SD10.

Post by Zach Chastain »

Not sure if this is the right place to post but I have a 1988 Gibson Showcase edition les paul. Only 200 made. Has the thin body so it is lighter than a standard les paul. I'm putting this out here to see if anybody would be interested in trading for an SD10 guitar. Would prefer Mullen but open to any offers.
Thanks

Zack, I owned one of the 200 showcase guitars also, and three years ago hoped to trade for a steel guitar. One of the great forum members suggested I sell the guitar on Les Paul Forum. I was able to quickly sell the guitar and then had cash to work with to buy my steel. I truly feel that this will be the quickest way to have your steel guitar. BTW, you are correct that there were only 200 showcase lights made, but Gibson only made these lights for three years from 87 thru 89 and the showcase only in 88. As you know, these are not Les Paul Studios, but high end guitars. Good luck and hope you are pedaling soon!
