All,

I've seen several Emmons concert videos for sale, just wondered which one grabs you, which has the best quality, music. I'm sure they're all good...

Drew, I highly recommend the Emmons/Rugg video and the Classics video recorded in St. Louis. I cannot tell you how many times I have watched both of them. Buddy has always been my personal favorite and Hal Rugg is a great player as well. The Emmons/Rugg video was recorded in 2002 while the Classics video was recorded in 1986. The Classics video has good quality and sound to have been recorded over 15 years ago. The Boston video is pretty grainy and very hard to see at times. However, Mike Ihde has a CD out on the same project which is much better. I recommend the CD instead of the video on the Boston recording. The Classics video also has Bobby Caldwell on guitar and you know how talented a picker he is. I assure you will not be disappointed with either of the Emmons videos. You can see Buddy twirl the bar around while playing on the Classics video as well. Go ahead and order both of them and I promise you that they are worth every dollar you will spend on them...Paul
