Emmons Machining

Post by Steve Stallings »

I realize that Emmons had it's machining done by Aycoth Machine Company for about 20 years. Is Ron Jr. doing his own now or is some other machine company his supplier?

Another machine shop has been contracted and Ron (and I) are extremly happy with the high quality of precision this co. is putting out. I feel that the new Emmons guitars are better than ever in quality AND tone. ( now about those "little" C clips)

Well, I still love the Push-Pull, To and fro, Heather and yon , Drag and roll, Suck and blow, rattle and snap original model myself, I think this is what you are asking Larry????
However, the quality of construction on the new LeGrandes is looking and sounding better than a lot of the former ones. Also, may I add, All Emmons guitars have had the great qualitys that have been sought after by the masses for several decades. No such thing as a bad one.
