How many Walker SS owners do we have?
I was a PV guy for 35 years. GD worked me over every time I would see him at a show. I broke down bought one, no two, traded one to a student to help him out, now sold that item and called GD looking for another one. I just love this amp. They say once you have had... no can not go there but, when you find something that blows your skirt up, get another you may need it.

I have one! It is a great amp and super versitle.
The power amp inputs on the back of mine are 1/4" jacks, so I run my guitar pre-amp into the back for multi-instrument use.
I have one gig where the stage is a weird shape so I run one speaker behind me on stage (as my monitor basically), and use the XLR outs to the PA mains for room coverage.
I have two 15" cabs with 200W 8ohm 3"-voice-coil (copper edge wound) Kustom "SRO" speakers with black paper dust cap (with "SRO" printed on it).
I also have a 12" JBL K120 cab now that I sometimes use (1-15" and 1-12" speaker in Stereo).
Nice!
With a Stereo Steel rig, you will always be able to blow the guitar player away... at will!
You will never be at a loss for fire power.

When I have the room for it on stage I really enjoy mine with 2- 15" BW neo's in K&K audio cabs.
Its like using 2 Session 400's.

I have been able to get the stage sound I wanted ever since I got my first SS rig. Unable to get it with other amps... always sounds the same regardless of venue. I'd been trying to lighten the load some and tried many smaller rigs, finally lucked into one of his rare single cabinet mono jobs, and there it was. Sounds 90% as good as the stereo setup. Go GD. I LOVE his stuff.

Been using Gerry's complete Stereo Steel Combo / speakers, the works, for 15 years !! Never a problem , headroom plus , never found any better sound through any other amp I ever played through before!! I have never wished for anything more that the Walker Stereo Steel Combo . It has always delivered everything I ever asked it to do .

Stereo Steel
Just got mine from GD a few months ago.
I'm VERY happy I did. And, topped it off with (2)
Telonics Super Neo 12-4 speakers from Dave and Sophie. "My search is over" !!

I've had mine about a year, love it, and get many compliments from fellow pro players. It's sounding especially sweet with dual Telonics cabs: open back with JBL K-140 rebuilt by Telonics; and closed back with Peavey BW.
Down the road I'm planning to get a Telonics neo and use it in a Walker open back cab for stages where there's no room for dual cabs. That neo hits the sweet spot between a sparkly JBL and a bassier BW.

I got the whole system several months ago and I was worried I wouldn't get the sound of running 2 Sessions in stereo with a Peavey ProfexII, but I have to say, with the JBL cabinets I like it even better!!! Very clean and pure. HIGHLY recommend it!!! I still use this with a SS Black Box like I did with the other system...

Here in the NW I know that Josh Gibson and Loren Depping both have one, thanks to me. I am buying another one from Tony Glassman.
PF does or use to use them as does Frank Carter from Yuma. Oh how about GD Walker.

I highly recommend the Stereo Steel for the tone conscious player. The clarity of this unit is unmatched, whether it's in the high or the low end. You can depend on the SS whether in a soft playing setting or much needed volume as in an open air stage for quality sound. The service is second to none, as well.
