We are now offering our Style One Weissenborns! Check em out

Post by Matthew Nigro »

This is an Iseman Style One Koa Weissenborn Guitar handcrafted in Hawai'i, by Luthiers Mark Iseman and Matthew Nigro.
This specific guitar has a beautiful Koa bookmatch with a world class curl.
The Koa's origin is from Big Island and is strictly from fallen trees only.
Koa all the way around, no binding.
Simple Three ring Rosette.
The fretboard is made of Rich Ebony and is bound in matching Koa.
The fretboard includes curly maple fretmarkers and Mother of Pearl Dots for position markers.
Includes a matching ebony bridge with cow bone nut and saddle for a optimal sound and tone.
Grover Sta-tite Tuners, for precision tuning.
The Bracing is an X- pattern bracing made of Sitka Spruce.
Headstock made from True Mahogany.
This Guitar sounds beautiful and rich with deep clear tones.
Our Finish is a combination of handrubbed oils that brings out the Koa's natural rich tones and physical beauty.

Aloha!

I will put some in the for Sale Section:D

The new one looks very nice. I have a very old one that I got from my wife's, who is now 70, stepmother. Is there a way I can tell when it was made? I haven't seen a label or any markings in the inside.
