Post by CrowBear Schmitt »

i'm pleased to announce that " Cool Set " is now available
not only to steelers but to all musicians & artists

"Cool Set" is an I Pad application for Reading & Installing Tabs, Chord Charts, Lyrics, Repertoires, Set Lists, & much more
http://lozach.com/coolset.html

Conceived by Jean Yves Lozach, France's Top Steeler,"Cool Set" is now the best tool for both the Pros & Amateurs to organize their Musik on Stage, at home or at rehearsal

No More Sorting Out Sheets of Paper or notebooks
All Information is Centralised in a Unique Document Accessible at your Fingertips

For each song, the Repertoire contains :
- the lead sheet or lyrics as PDF
- the music as mp3 format audio file
- tempo - key - estimated length
- metronome
- all files can be shared w: other musicians
(as long as they have the App & an Ipad)
- I Pad rests on the Music stand & has it's own back lighting

Manual in English is here :
http://lozach.com/pdf/Help.pdf

Can be bought here at Apple store at quite a reasonable price here :
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/coolset ... &ls=1&mt=8

Any questions, bring 'em on !
Jean Yves & i will be glad to answer

Crowbear, do you know if this will also work with an iMac desktop computer?

Thanks for posting this Crowbear.
This looks like what my band's singer / guitarist needs so he doesn't have to flip through his notebook between songs!

Very cool app.

It would be nice if it was also iPhone compatible. I've used "set-list" before (which is not nearly as nice) at gigs, by placing my iPhone on my key head of my guitar. I've got too much equipment to bring an iPad to the gig, but my phone is always with me.

Anyone actually tried this at a gig?

For the time being Don, the App ,is only for I Pad
Jean Yves tells me there will be a lighter version App for I Phone

Gary, Jean Yves has been roadtesting it conclusively
since this product is new, no one is using it yet
