Looks like soap-bar mounting to me... you put a piece of foam under the pickup and use four wood screws to 'float' the pickup on the foam. I can't see any other way of mounting them without another bracket or something.

Philip,
I had one in my Zum I had to drill and tap the four holes. Emmons supplies those screws (good luck with that one), but Fastenal carries them too. I forget what the size is, but it tells you on the Emmons website. I suggest using stainless screws, since they go right through the middle of the p'up near the poles.

Pickup Mounting Screws

Post by Lynn Stafford »

Phillip,

You'll need to remove the mounting plates so you can drill and tap them for the very small 2-56 mounting screws (item G) on page 7 of the Emmons Catalog.

If you look at the mounting plate (item J) also shown, you'll see the smaller 4 hole bolt pattern that's used for these pickups.
Best regards,

Make sure you don't use metal screws, only brass or RVS screws!

You can get the screws from Emmons about $0.25 ea

The Emmons mounting plate has the holes 4-40 threads per in.
