Hey fellow players,
I just wanted to give a shout out to Gary Rittenberry for helping me over the last couple of weeks.
I accidentally broke off my vertical lever on my steel a few weeks back, and after talking with Gary, I sent the steel off to be fixed.
Last Friday, I got the steel back, and not only was it fixed, but he replaced a couple sticking tuners, upgraded the fret board to aluminum (old sticker one was becoming worn through), cleaned and polished it, upgraded some of the undercarriage, and added new pedal rod number markers! All of this done on his dime and back to me in a little over a week!
I have to say, this is amazing service from a wonderful hard working man. Not only does Gary build one of the best steels around, but he stands behind his product! A million thanks to Gary and to his professionalism.
Another Satisfied Customer

In the last three years I have become a good friend to Gary and best of all, I have two new Rittenberry PSG's; that tells it all.
Even if you don't buy a Rittenberry, but call Gary to ask about one, he will become a good friend to you; that's just Gary.
And Gary, "I love you man, but you can't have my Bud Lite"!!

My only complaint is every time Gary plays one of my steels,
the sparks start flying and I can see some flames starting to
rise off the strings from his great playing. By time I get home
the flames are all gone. I can't figure out if it's because of the
long drive back home or fact that I'm just an old man.

Gary is a real champion to his devoted. I played last Sunday, and even though I've been suffering from this viral stuff making the circles, I still had to smile at the most beautiful tone produced by the Rittenberry that Gary created for me, with love, I might add.
A phone conversation will convince you that this man is a genius. He has ideas about the pedal steel that will keep him at the top of the field. What everyone above has said about Gary is all true. Thank you for taking care of your loyal, but then, we would remain loyal anyway because of the wonderful instruments you have made for each and every one of us.

Recently acquired a previously owned Rittenberry guitar from Danny Cormier and all I can say is "WOW". Smooth playing, solidly built, great tone, this guitar has it all in spades and stays in tune well to boot. Cannot say enough good things concerning this fine instrument..Spoke with Gary at length this morning concerning some small parts that I needed and found him to be a most amiable, as well as extremely knowledgeable person. I honestly feel that I could not have made a better choice by selecting one of his guitars. Thank you Mr. Rittenberry.

Gary's guitars are second to none and he does indeed go out of his way to make sure that those that are lucky enough to own one of his fantastic creations, are fully satisfied with it. Great guitar and great guy to deal with.

As I see the asking prices on other guitars, I quickly realize that Gary produces the top guitar for a bargain. One must consider too that each guitar is a custom build. Gary designs and builds each guitar for the individual player. It doesn't get any better.

I have to say amen to all the above comments. Gary just finished my second Ritt and it came out perfect. It started out as my effort to merge C6 & E9 into a single ten guitar .... Gary and I discussed the in's & out's & he carried it off perfectly. I played it at a jam last night with three very seasoned players & they were impressed at the sound of the Ritt & it's ability to flow between "C6 style" and straight country. Gary is a prince and deserves all the praise he receives.
Thanks again Reverend Rittenberry ... it is an amazing ax.
I will post some pics & a better descriptive in a few days.
