Someone posted a question if some Peavey 1501-4dt speakers were made with a kevlar cone, and when i tried to delete a double post from myself it seems i deleted the whole topic, my excuses.
Anyway, my Session 400 Limited came with this speaker, and when i asked Mike Brown from Peavey about it he told me that it was made with a kevlar cone, and that later versions had a paper cone, the 15601-sb(shallow basket). My understanding always has been: 1501-4dt=kevlar, 1501-4sb=paper, but i've seen confusing information on the web.
When put side by side the sb is less deep, other then that i see no difference.
Peavey Black Widow 1501-4DT Kevlar cone?

Roger, thanks for your reply, i did see that site, and it doesn't match with what i heard from Peavey some years ago, therefore my remark about confusing information.
By the way, i started this topic because i somehow couldn' find the original topic:(1501-4Dt, by Dan Beller-Mckenna), this morning after i deleted a double post from myself.
