PUP Mounting

Post by Eldon Cangas »

First of all, happy new year!

I've mounted the pup on my new steel with velcro for the time being. It works and holds it in place.

I'm thinking of a permanent or movable mount that once I'm satisfied with the tone I can tighten it down.

Considering the current mounting is almost "floating" does anyone have any thoughts as to how it might sound once it is permanently fixed in place and picking up some body sounds.

Thanks Folks

Eldon, As long as your pup isn't overly microphonic, you shouldn't have a problem
