Guitar is in overal fantastic shape, completely gone over by Bill Asher. Original nut included if you decide to convert it back into a 'normal' acoustic guitar.
A Seymour Duncan Mag-mic pickup has been added but not shown in the pics. Sounds fantastic through my AER compact 60 amp ! (for sale soon as well)
2" width at the nut, Non-compensated saddle are just a couple features that make this a nice choice for lap style set up. Also a great guitar for fingerstyle playing. The best though, is it's pure tone and great projection.
ALL original except added pickup and endpin jack. NO cracks or repairs. Neck is straight, bridge in great shape. String clearance at the nut is 5/16" from bottom of low E string to fretboard, and just about the same at the 12th fret. The saddle was NOT replaced or raised, so the action tapers a bit from nut to last fret as would be the case on a Weissenborn or Dobro.. but extremely playable all the way up.
I was going to have the pickguards removed but Bill Asher advised against it to keep it original. If you want to remove them...well.. go for it ?
