Young Hal Rugg on an aluminum neck Sho-Bud

Heres a video from the old Stan Hitchcock show. The late Hal Rugg was backing Mel Street with a old Sho-Bud Professional. This guitar had an aluminum neck. This must have been a very rare guitar because I thought the Pro III custom's were the first aluminum neck Bud's made.
