The One Rose played on the Eharp Steel

Post by Mel Taylor »

This is my latest attempt at playing a song on the Eharp Steel. The song is "The One Rose" and the arrangement is from Doug Beaumier's book of 25 songs for C6. I transcribed it to suit the Alkire Eharp tuning. The backing track is also Doug's that came with the book.
I welcome all helpful comments and hope that you will all watch the video.
Thanks,
Mel Taylor

MEL, thanks for sharing that with the rest of us! I had never heard an E-Harp played before, but had heard that they have a really nice tone. It appeared that you were not even using a volume pedal. Was my observation correct? Either way, keep up the good work!

Thanks Wayne for watching the video. I do run the cable through a volume pedal then to the amp even though I rarely use it and you are correct I didn't use it on this song. Thanks again for your comments they are much appreciated.
