There was a discussion about this a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, it was Weldon Myrick. Nice tune and steel work from somewhere around '73 or 4. I remember being pleasantly surprised to hear the steel on it way back then.

With or without steel the Pointer Sisters are a joy to listen to and watch!
This is a live appearance where they sing the song, backed by a trio. Isn't that a steel guitar (unplayed) on stage, I keep wondering...? or is it a keyboard?

Yeah, that is the thread I was thinking of Joachim. As to the clip, hard to tell....but I think that's a keyboard over there.
