Eek! I've just watched this clip. Buddy's first solo sounds close to Bobby Black's from Cody and the Airmens' '76 live album version.

first time ive seen these vids Im going through them one by one they are fabulous.
Buddy can play this stuff with total control and whats more is still tasteful to perfection......so many players, even some of the top players, seem to overplay when doing solos of this tempo.

Buddy doesn't have a logo or emblem on his steel. Why is that? It looks like a p/p Emmons but the front looks bare plain black with no emblem.
