Another proof that it's mostly in the hands. Heck, Danny doesn't use the volume pedal on this one and I don;t even miss it. Amazing control in those hands of his. Great work Danny.

Yes Danny is one of my all time favorites! He's got it all...touch, tone, taste, a deep bag full of cool new ideas. You can just tell he's logged in a lot of time as a pro on stage to put it all together. I love his spin on tunings! It kind of reminds me once again why I think the ultimate goal for all of us is to find our own voice and not be too concerned with standardization. I'm pretty sure he uses a variation of A6 on the top neck (like a reverse E9 in pedals down open position) and on C6, he uses a Chalkeresque setup. And yes, his volume pedal technique is something we can all learn from!
