Christine's Tune

Post by Phil Caine »

Hi
Can anyone help me shed light on what Sneaky Pete is playing after the word 'eyes' in the chorus of Christine's tune. I have worked out some of the other fills but this one is bugging me!
Thanks for any help.

Heres how I play the lick on my E9 Emmons set up.
LKR is the E lower knee leverd
RKL raises my 7th string a whole step. If you dont have this set-up you can slide from 6th fret to 4th fret on 7th string for same effect.
I'm pretty sure these are the notes he is playing after the lyric "eyes" there are probably other ways to do it but this is what i found. The last note is not notated on my tab because my steel cant get that low not., however the note can be played an octave higher than recorded on 7th string fret 4 (LKR) - same as the second to last note in my tab.
Hope this makes sense, let me know what you think
