Cougar 6 String Pedal Steel

This is a guitar players dream. If you've always loved the steel guitar but are daunted by those 10 strings, or just to have the time to invest in learning a new instrument, then this may be for you. The late Freeman Cowgar (sorry if I blew the spelling) developed and built this guitar for pedal steel lovers who play the 6 string. This steel is tuned to open E. Press pedals A & B and you are on the 4 cord. RNR and LNR take you to the 5 cord - all 6 strings. This guitar is very intuitive and dare I say easy to play. It has 3 pedals and 4 knee levers.

This is a used guitar and has just minimal wear. The only thing that might be considered wrong is that you must push the A pedal a little farther than the B (about an inch) to engage and bend the string. I'm sure this is something that could be adjusted. I will include a set of wrenches and a vinal cover in the sale.

I have plenty of photo's, but I'm a computer moron and can't figure out how to up load them here. Happy to send them to you. I'd like to get $650 shipped. These sold new for $1295 if memory serves.

I've owned this guitar for about 8 years and have loved every minute of it, having bought it from fellow SGForum member Dan Bates. Circumstances out of my control are forcing this sale.
