This video is from a show I played two months ago.
It was just posted today.
I get a lot of compliments on the chimes I play around 0:30, particularly the "Shooting Star" effect, which doesn't exist in the original recording by Blue Rodeo.
I've owned Push Pull guitars in the past, but moved on, and had been "Push Pull - less" for a few years.
I recently purchased and started performing with a 1970 Push Pull, and have received unsolicited positive comments about the richness of it's sound from band members.
Cool! I thought I was the only one that noticed.
When I first heard this clip, I thought, "Yes! That's The Sound! Using a Push Pull in this band really delivers the sound I want!"
Then I looked closer and realized I'm playing my 1999 Carter in this performance.
I'm so confused....

Don't be confused Joey
...so many threads about sounds on various guitars. The build quality may differ on various brands but I guess at the end of the day as so many agree it's the player that gets the sound, with his touch, attack and of course amp settings. I like the way you have the Carter decal on the other end...kinda different. I had it in the middle once but returned it to the original place...good that the sticky stuff on those decals are never ending
Cheers.

Joey, whichever steel that is.....the tone is coming through nice and clear, especially those chimes. Not everyone can do those, namely me.
Nice work.
