That clip is solid gold! The head of Buck's banjo covered a round aluminum plate. All his pulls were affixed to that, except for the peghead tuners. Yes, Shot built the rig for him. Before Sho Bud, Shot would build anything a player would come to him and ask for.
Also in the clip besides Don Warden on steel are George McCormick on guitar, Little Jack Little on snare drum and Mack McGaha on fiddle. Porter's Martin is beautiful. That's the image of a hillbilly
