Country for the kids.

Post by Matt Hughes »

Trigger 5, a St. Louis country band, played with an elementary school orchestra for a fundraiser last night. Our fiddle player is a violin teacher and taught his students Faded Love and a couple blues tunes for the show. We had a great turn out and raised a good amount of money for the orchestra program. The kids loved it! Hopefully, we will get a few young country and western fans out of this. The students were fascinated with the steel guitar too.

Check out Trigger 5 and The Soulard School Orchestra playing Faded Love.

This is the coolest elementary string performance I've ever seen. I've been in elementary education for 38 years. The best!

Hopefully, there will be future performances from this wonderful group of young people.
