Alan Jackson - Walmart Soundcheck

Post by Richard Durrer »

This is a great segment with Alan Jackson and his band playing 7 songs from his new album Freight Train. Good footage of his steel player and his Derby.

Enjoy. Rich

That's a jewel Rich!
Where do you find them?
Jackson at his best and that Derby sounds great!

Alan's puttin' on a bit o' weight, there! Still solid country, though. Pity Alan (Garth, et al) have to lower themselves to Walmart - if Alan really believes what he says about the "little man", he'd ditch Walmart in a heartbeat. Exclusive "product" or not, I'd never set foot in one of their stores, nor buy from their website.

I thought it was kinda boring- no uptempo songs , or real catchy hooks like I'm used to hearing from him. Great band though...
