Good Morning,
Let's go back to the 70s this time, to 1973 to be exact. Here's a nice ballad for you:

For a moment, I thought about saying it was Larry G Hudson and Steve Hinson but caution prevailed and I did not. I have come to enjoy these weekly challenges to our skills of identification. But I grow old and things have begun to fade a bit. I still look forward to the resolution of the sample provided and I thank you for that.
And don't we all regret some of those things we did way back then ? But, I for one, doubt that you regret your choice of Pedal Steel Guitar especially when I hear some of your work now and then on this Forum. I thank you for that !!
Regards, Paul

Gentlemen,
Glad that you liked the track - I do, too!
That is really something to warm the heart on a cold and grey winter day. And, of course, Steve is right, that is Wayne Kemp and John Hughey. Besides the great playing and singing, I really love the great recording technique of those days, with the crystal clear sound, no killing drums, a decent bass and a simple but very effective arrangement. Sometimes I think that this is a lost art form...
Kind Regards, Walter
