L.A. Steel Jam: (Feb 27 and 28) Special announcements

In the past, we've always lost an hour of playing time while our food is being prepared when we take our lunch break.

This year, a waitress will come by and take our orders in advance, so we can continue to play while they cook the food.

But in order for this to work, we MUST wear name tags. This applies to both players and observers. It's the only way the waitresses can keep track of who gets what.

Also, the nearest motel has agreed to a 10% discount (which actually doesn't amount to very much, but every little bit helps,) for anybody attending the jam who wants to stay there. Anybody who wants or needs a room, please E-mail me for more details and so I can reserve a room for you.

As long as I'm here, I may as well remind everybody to please bring a power strip and extension cord if you can, and as before, please park your cars on the street after you unload your gear.

Once again, the jam is held at the El Arco Iris restaurant, 5684 York Blvd, in the Highland park section of Los Angeles.
