Not only is Buddy a great picker, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. It is a Honor to call him a friend for 30+ years.

He's not to bad on piano either. :)

Buddy Elkin on the Web

Post by Roger Dillingham »

Hey Nick, would that be the same Buddy Elkin from Henderson, Kentucky? If so, I have been thinking about giving him a call to see if he would give me a few lessons. I live in Madisonville and Henderson is just a 40 minute drive...maybe that would work out if he is interested.
Thanks, Roger :)

All the years I've been around here, I've met him, but never had the chance to hear Buddy play live. I have seen and heard him on some of the tv jamboree sets and he sounds great, just like on the clip. One of the most respected and sought after players around.

Nice job Buddy! Got to get down to hear you at the NTSGA sometime.

WOW! Now that is what good country music should sound like today.
Outstanding performance, from really good musicians and the singer.
I love the sound of that Emmons LG-II, wish mine sounded half as good.
