That is nothing new.
Al petty, who is presently serving a life term in a Texas prison for running a Ponzi scheme, had a guitar with 21 heel and toe pedals.

Hi Erv
Yes, I'm well aware it's not a new idea, I've seen a few pictures of other variations going back many years. I have a picture of a sierra somewhere with a double set of ten pedals. The video was originally on the British Steelies site and I had added a note to the effect that it wasn't new and it was just me messing about with various possibilities. I didn't know John was going to video my visit, let alone record what I was playing, hence the cock-ups. I simply reasoned that with feet and knees occupied I would play around with a heel pedal. I'm not claiming anything new or wonderful, it's just that i'm interested in experimenting with different ideas and tunings.
Best regards
Barry

I enjoyed the video John made, Barry. I love hearing the different approaches people use on pedal steel, and hearing what they deem important and set up the pedals and levers to do for them.

Plus it's great hearing a couple of friends just having fun!
